Here's a brief history of the Renaissance Era:
From 14-17th century, the Renaissance period started as a cultural movement in Italy in the late Medieval period and eventually spread to the rest of Europe.
This is a period of intellectual reformation and scholars' invented version of humanism, derived from Protagoras, which leads to the cultural revolutions in art, architecture, politics, education, science and literature.
In art and literature, it encompassed innovative flowering of Latin and vernacular literature, and the development of linear perspective and other techniques of rendering a more natural reality in painting; and gradual but widespread educational reform.
In politics, the Renaissance contributed to the development of the customs and conventions of diplomacy, and in science to an increased reliance on observation and inductive reasoning.
The word Renaissance, literally meaning "Rebirth" in French, first appears in English in the 1830s, which extended to other historical and cultural movements, such as Carolingian Renaissance and the Renaissance of the 12th century.
